Dog Training

For 30 years Hifive Kennels has been breeding English Pointers and English Setters for the Grouse and Woodcock hunter. To prove our program, we have successfully campaigned our dogs on the cover dog circuit against the best and have hunted our dogs across the country on wild birds. Our dogs are truly wild bird dogs that handle from foot. We train gun dog and coverdog/walking dogs. Our program has produced some of the finest hunting and grouse trial dogs in the country.

Litter #1:

Hifive's Sonny Side Up has been bred to 2xCH Hifive's Top Shelf. Sonny is by 2019 Grand National Grouse Campion 3XCH R-U CH Titanium Hammer x Hifive's Allisin. He is a remarkably talented young grouse dog, exhibiting toughness and endurance. He demonstrates a strong work ethic and lives to please, showcasing maturity around game akin to an older dog. Top Shelf is a performer winning the Lake States Grouse Championship and the Northern Michigan Coverage Championship along with multiple other grouse trial wins. She is a producer of top notch bird dogs. Both Sonny and Top Shelf share on the top side of their pedigree the Grand sire, CH. Nat'l R-U CH. Dateline Black List and Sonny's Grand dam is National Amateur Grouse Campion 3XCH 5xR-U CH. Hifive's Wrangler. On the bottom both share as a Grand sire, Hall of Fame CH. Miller's Happy Jack and both are Great Grand sired on the bottom by CH. Elhew Sinbad.

2023 Grand National Grouse Champion 2XCH R-U CH Ralphy's Chasehill Rip x Hifive's Unsweetened Brandy, Brandy is by 2019 Grand National Grouse Campion 3XCH R-U CH Titanium Hammer x 2xCH Hifive's Top Shelf. She is a top notch grouse dog used on our guide string. Brandy was bred 1-25-25.

2019 Grand National Grouse Champion 3xCH R-U CH. Titanium Hammer x Hifive's Unsweetened Sandy. Sandy is due in season around the 1st of the year.

2023 Grand National Grouse Champion 2XCH R-U CH Ralphy's Chasehill Rip x Hifive's Unsweetened Myra Myra is by 2019 Grand National Grouse Campion 3XCH R-U CH Titanium Hammer x 2022 Winner of the Grand National Grouse and Woodcock Invitational and Runner-Up in 2023 2xCH R-U CH BK Rolling Dice. Myra is a top notch grouse dog used on our guide string.
